It's that time of the year again!
Peak bloom of the Cherry Blossoms this year is anticipated to be roughly March 22-26, so it's time for our Annual Cherry Blossom Run.
For those unfamiliar, we meet (usually carpool) at the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall, and take a nice leisurely run around the Tidal Basin to enjoy the views of the Cherry Blossoms.
We try to get an early start to get ahead of the tourists so we have lots of room, and so that we have lots of time to take pics of the flowers and/or the Mall.
We normally have two routes, one for folks who want to run a longer distance, and one for people who just want to take in the flowers.
This year, I'd like to propose a breakfast/brunch after the run, at the world-famous Lincoln's Waffle Shop just off the Capitol. Not a requirement at all and an optional signup will be posted in the comments.
